We all face changes in life, some external and some internal.  It is how we face change that determines our character.  Daniel Mannington is faced with a world exploding with change just as he faces the changes within himself. 

Set in 1914, the story revolves around Mannington's reaction to the war and his very survival.  He learns to trust others  as he begins to question his own motives is life.
