if your writing a teen novel, take advice from a bonified teen. (me). some/most people like boy/girl relationships, but quirky ones like me roll their eyes at them. I like books about losing friendships/depression/troubled things/secrets. hope this helps.☻

Reading childrens books is a good idea. There are loads of great children's authors. What books do you enjoy? A teenage novel would be the most challenging I think.

I am thinking of writing a children's book or novel. I know I want to gear the book towards young adults or young children! I know that is a great difference in age groups. Just not sure what to write about and what would be a more challenging experience for me. I want a challenge. If anyone has any ideas about what is out there (as far as what kids are reading these days, I would like some advice). I am looking for a great idea or even a statement that can jump start my imagination.
