when i have a writters block which i normally do after a few hours of writting all i do is read a book it clenses my mind and it also makes me go off the book a bit when i am thinking on mine then i come up with ideas it is just helpful to me i dont know about youlot but i find it helpful. also brainstorming can help you write down how your story starts write the main problem and how it ends then you just fill in the gaps with more problems and their solutions it may be that one of your fill the gap problems go for most of the story but isnt important enough to be the main problem. well anyway thats my advise hope it helps you all out of a writters block
