Writerguy, have you not heard of QueryTracker? It makes keeping track of who you queried, has thousands of agents in every genre listed, has a private place to keep copies of the exact query you sent to each agent (so you can see what worked and what didn't.) and there are helpful comments from others who've queried--all that for free with the basic version. There's a few more perks with a paid subscription, but for me, the free one works fine.

I'm old enough to remember when you had to pay to make copies, pay for postage, and pay for typewriter ribbons.
For me, it's not a big deal to pay a fee for this service that keeps things well-organized in a way I never could. In fact, it's still a hell of a bargain.
So I'm not complaining.
