What I've been seeing on the News is very troubling. For a long time I've been trying to come up with an idea for a book, concerning one or more of the very troubling things, which have been going on around our Country, and the entire world, for the past several years. Now I've found something.
Sony PIctures has given in to terrorist threats, and canceled the premier of what looks like a very dumb comedy about a fictional attempt to assassinate the Leader of North Korea. This means that every American's Constitutional Right to free expression is now threatened.
This is not only something which I can write about. The book is already written. It's my old novel "Angels of Death at Play". The only change I have to make is not in the text. It's in the introduction, which now reads "In a world which has given in to terrorist threats, all that the people have to eat is each other, and they thank God for every meal."
I wonder if Sony Pictures would like to purchase the Movie Rights?
Dear WEbook writers and readers,
After five wonderful years of running WEbook.com, it is with great sadness that we have decided to close the site. We are one of the last to take this step but despite spending a huge amount of our own money, at some point the money runs out and we, like Book Country, Authonomy, Figment and many others, have been forced to make this painful decision.
The lights will be turned off for a final time on March 31st 2018, after which WEbook.com will cease to exist. Any work that you would like to retain must be downloaded from your account by midnight GMT on March 31st, 2018. Anything that is left on the site after this will be unrecoverable in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 1998.
Although our time with WEbook has come to an end, if you would like to make us a serious offer, now is your opportunity. Drop us a line at: firstname.lastname@example.org
WEbook has taken us on a wonderful journey, with a group of really talented writers. Thank you to everyone for putting so much effort into the site, and of course into each other's writing.
Just don’t stop writing because of us!
The WEbook Team
