I think it smells like medicinal hay, with a hint of a floral bouquet

What an intriguing question. It makes me wonder if you've never smelled chamomile, or if you HAVE smelled it, and you're looking for help describing the smell. Either way, it's a great experiment to find out how different people would describe the same smell. (Smells are hard to describe...but if you come up with a unique, true, and memorable description, it can add a lot to your writing.)
So here's my shot at describing how chamomile smells:
Like freshly mown grass, with the faintest hint of urine.

Does anyone know what chamomile smells like and could describe it to me? I know this is an odd question, but I actually really need to find out....
