  I Love to spend time with my family, have family dinners, spend time with friends, write, dance my heart out, belly laugh, empower others, be empowered, write, read, eat, watch movies, laugh hysterically, listen to all kinds of music, write, tell stories, go to Broadway Shows, get pedicures, write, go shopping and to lunch with my Mom and Daughter, go to Cross Country & Track Meets, laugh, go to the beach, jog, talk on the phone and oh yes, did I mention write?!? My favorite quote: "it is better to improve than it is to prove"

• My claim to fame: Being a mom to my three children, Richie, Kevin and Katie, is my true claim to fame. They provide me with plenty of amazing material and have taught me how to use my "five senses of humor" to the fullest.
  On a literary note,  I am especially proud of my children's book, SHIRT FOR DESSERT, which was voted by my fellow webookers (my sincerest gratitude!) and chosen for publication by the Webook editors! SHIRT FOR DESSERT is due out in late spring! I also have a soft place in my heart for my first self-published children's book "IF HURRICANES WERE CANDY CANES". Being spared from the destruction of Hurricane Andrew in 1992 allowed my family to participate in the recovery process. Overcome with the experience, I was completely inspired to write this story which I accomplished in four hours. Raising financial support through its proceeds and emotional support through its message of rebuilding and hope, "IF HURRICANES WERE CANDY CANES" continues to be read by children across the United States and serve as an inspirational children's book.
