I grew up in the prairies of Canada listening to the greats of Canadian folk/rock. Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, and Leonard Cohen. I started writing songs when I was fourteen, and have recently begun writing and studying poetry nearly full time. I plan to venture to Montréal to continue to pursue poetry more seriously, and to find new inspirations that we do not necessarily have here in the prairies.
