On WEbook I use the name AlinasVoice, but I'll also answer to 'Sue' or Ashley Grainger, if you've come across me on the UK site YouWriteOn.

I'm a Yorkshire woman, wife, mother, shop assistant and a writer...  The writer emerged (tentatively) at age 14, thanks to a wonderful American lady who took the time to listen to and read my 'stuff' and a harsher/scarier than usual English teacher, who despaired of my spelling and grammar skills, but gave my creative writing projects the highest marks he'd ever awarded.  He encouraged me to 'keep going', even after I left school.

I write about the ideas created when my interest is caught, my imagination ponders and my subconscious pulls the pieces together.  The finished idea is usually presented to me as I wake-up, listen to music or I'm indulging in a little 'quiet time'.  My biggest idea, to date, is the 'Lifelights' series.

The story of the Lifelights currently stands at 5 in the series.  The first two are complete (editing needed), the third a partial MS and the other two mere glints in my eye... and a rough synopsis.

Book 1 - Lifelights
Book 2 - Light Evolution
Book 3 - 21st Century Light 
Book 4 - Chemical Light
Book 5 - New Age Light

After these... who knows?  Maybe more in the series, or maybe I'll plow my time into my latest story idea, 'Sensory Deprivation'.
