In short

  • I'm named aftera very well-known wizard.  My father loved the Lord of the Rings so much that he gave me Gandalf's name.  Gandalf the Grey = Amethyst Greye.  The 'e' at the end was to make it more feminine.

My Favorites: Reading and Writing

  • Ditto, though I will say my two favorite books of all time are The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, and The Outsiders, by S. E. Hinton.
  • Emma, by Austen
    Bring Me the Head of Prince Charming, by Zelazny
    Reading/Editing Silver
  • Anywhere I can get the chance.
  • "Jules" from my novel Silver because it would nice for numbers not to be my enemies for at least one day and Jules is a mathematical whiz.
  • This list is too long.  I have half a dozen and a couple dozen genres.
