In short

  • I guess I'm an all around Jill of trades. Been there, done that, I was lost but now I'm on a different path type thing.

I write middle-grade and YA fiction by night and massage bodies for pay by day--word dancer and tissue manipulator, glistening but rough.

My husband and son help to keep my mind out of the clouds for a couple hours out of the day at least. If it wasn't for them I may have floated away by now.

  • Well--I don't want to toot my own horn or nothin, but I do make pretty good lasagna.

A rad thing happened just the other day too. A group of ten and eleven year old boys read my story, Land of Corn Chips, and loved it. Now, I can believe my ten year old son when he tells me he loves it. I thought he was just trying to be nice;)

My Favorites: Reading and Writing

  • Fiction: Horror, Sci Fi/Fantasy, Teen, Young Adult/Juvenile

  • I grew up reading Anne Rice and love her still. Well, "grew up" isn't correct. I've never really grown up. So, Anne Rice has been a part of my life since I was a teen. I heart her.  In grade-school, I loved loved loved Sweet Valley High.

I'm really diggin all the YA that's been coming out. I love urban fantasies. All of the Twilight Saga, anything by Maggie Stiefvater, Melissa Marr and some others. ;)
  • Ballad by Maggie Stiefvater and Angel Time by Anne Rice
  • On the couch with a blanket and pillow with my fuzzy princess slippers on. But, really, anywhere is a good place to read.
  • Fiction: Children's, Coming of Age, Horror, Novella, Sci Fi/Fantasy, Teen, Young Adult/Juvenile

  • There are so many good ones to have a favorite.
