In short

  • I am a million people at once
And yet no one at all.
I have always dreamed of flying,
    But I'm afraid to fall.
    I'm deep at one end
    And shallow at the other,
And I love to swim in your eyes.
    I have many talents,
    But I can't perform a single one.
I am a very sociable person,
    But I hate people and
    I don't like talking.
I hate waking in the morning,
But love to watch the rising sun.
I am a creature of the night,
Afraid of what lurks in the darkness.
My life is full of contradictions,
But I agree with every one.
My mind is my best feature,
Though I fear my own thoughts.
    I love being around you,
But my stomach ties in knots.
I love to fish in summer,
But I hate those scaly things,
They flip and flop and they're slimy,
I'm glad they don't have wings.
I love to read and write,
But I hate it all the same.
I love to sing and draw beautiful things,
    And others think I'm great,
But I think I'm no good at all,
    At best I'm second-rate.
So now you know my story,
At least what I will tell.
And if you don't think this is enough,
    All I'll say is,
    "Go to Hell!"

  • I am a writer, nothing more, nothing less. I do not expect to become famous, but I do appreciate occasional praise and as much constructive criticism as possible.
