In short

  • Hi to all at Webook . My name is Rob and I have recently picked up my pen and paper for the first time in a long time.

In younger years writing was my passion, however, as life priorities change once enjoyeable pursuits tend to be pushed to the side. Over the last 4 years I have been imagining a story in my head which has become more complex and more vivid with time. For my own satisfaction I have decided that I finally have the time to write my story and look forward to the day of completion. My wish is to share this journey with like minded individuals whom I hope will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.

Having started writing again has been a wonderful release and I now find myself carrying a notebook with me at all times. I have enrolled in progressive writing classes for further inspiration and hope that this will bring further interest to the reader.

Finding Webook was a wonderful thing. It is fantastic to discover a community of like minded people who can share the experience with me and through who's writing I also hope to discover new things and different approaches to this exciting and boundless form of art.

My Favorites: Reading and Writing

  • Fiction: Literary, Military/Espionage, Sci Fi/Fantasy

    Non-Fiction: Reference

  • Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Interview with the Vampire, The Dark Tower, The Wheel of Time, Simarillion, Of Mice and Men, The Bourne Identity

Any fantasy that doesn't involve teen vampires with a heroine described in the first person who is seduced by a vampire, or , she's a vampire who falls in love with a human, or a female witch wanting a normal life  and falling in love with a vampire, or, a teen alien life form who disguises themselves as human only to fall in love with..... a vampire!!!!!!

You get the gist. No more teen vampire romances!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    (Only joking)
