About me:

Before we get into the "who the hell am i" mumbo jumb, i would like to ask a favor of you guys, alright? If you have somehow magically come up with any writing ideas that are somewhat parallel to mine, i would like to know immediately so we could work something out. My works come out of my own head for the most part, and i would hate to have them stripped of their originality. Thank you.

I am currently a sophomore in high school, and am fighting an inner duel with myself. I have already taken twenty paces, and am ready to draw; however there is something within me that is scared to move forward and pull the trigger. Incase you were wondering this is an analogy, not for depression or other states of mind, but for the war I am at with society.

According to the high school-ian society, I must conform to the rules where it sees fit, however, I have no interest in doing so.

I’ve been writing little tidbits since I taught myself how to read and write at a very young age. Yes, I did teach myself how to read and write. I have found kindred spirits in words and letters, and hope to use the power that I have gained to influence the world around me about the dangers of conformity.

My parents find it quite amusing that i think that i will make it on the fruits of literature alone.

if you just need to talk i am a great listener, and like to keep and open mind.

Though i have started writing a little religious satire (The Divine Game), i am devoutly catholic, so please, if you are offended by my writing tell me so in a message rather than commenting my work. I am sure we would be able to work something out. ;)

Please, do not ask me to help in a poetry project. I am sorry if this offends you poets out there, but I do not know good poetry from bad, and my rhyming skills are far from satisfactory. (yes I know that there are poems that don’t rhyme). The thing is that I was not born to be a poetess as much as most of you were probably not born to serve god as a priest or nun.
My claim to fame:
is that i am human, i make mistakes and i realize it. i lie, cheat and maybe steal some times, but i try to do it sparingly. i say my prayers, go to church every sunday and try my best to please everyone.

"i could be moved, if i were as you / If i could pray to move, prayers would move me; / but i am constant as the northern star," (Julius Caesar, Act III, 1, 58-60)
