I've been writing stories since I could string together a sentence. Does that make me any good? Probably not. But hey, I figure I should get points for perseverance.
If I lived in a perfect world, I'd be able to spend eight-plus hours a day writing, daydreaming, and reading. Alas.. three kids and a husband kind of complicate things. So be patient if you're waiting on me to give feedback or post new stuff - there's a whole house full of people whose demands are a bit more immediate (and probably much louder) than yours - but I haven't forgotten you!
I'm an absolute grammar / spelling / syntax snob. I can't turn it off; I've tried. If your spellchecker's broken and (like me) you wish you could burn that awful "grammar checker" in Word, call me - I can get the job done better.. and have fun doing it.
The world would be a happier place if there were more stories about robots, aliens, ninjas, and pirates, and fewer stories about sucking face. Well.. okay, maybe not happier, per se, but certainly more fun. -
I'm a hardworking professional writer. Hopefully this will help me build up enough savings to take "time off" for fiction writing, rather than having to cram it around the edges of my already-hectic life.
As of June 1st 2009, I've finished two novels. Rah me.
The third is resisting being written (or perhaps that's me, resisting the writing). Either way.. it'll come around, eventually.

also, laundromats. something about the heat and the smell of laundry soap.. and having all those strangers around drives me deeper into the story. -
Poetry is a great mental workout. I enjoy writing dialogues/skits/plays which sometimes morph into short stories. One of my main reasons for joining WeBook is so it can force me to complete more of my ideas...
