Where to start...I have to have a creative outlet or I'll go nuts. Thank goodness I have a supportive husband! I love to act, sing and dance and when I'm not involved with some kind of theatrical production, I try to sell my paintings and photography. When I'm not doing that, I take old broken pieces of jewelry and make them in to new pieces (www.phunkyphoenix.etsy.com) and if I'm not doing that I write music (anyone want to buy some songs?) and if I'm not doing that, I write children's stories.  I'm all over depending upon my mood.

After working at Walt Disney World as a character performer, I wanted to continue to bring magic to children, so I created "Story Time with Princess Penelope" and brought books to life. It was great until we started to run out of books and the children started to pick the ones they liked the best for me to read. The ones they liked best were the ones that had funny characters where I would act out their "voices". This led me to think of an interactive story that would encourage children to use their imaginations by having them become the hero of the story and they would in turn act it out. I would like to do  a series of these stories called "Off On An Adventure". My first being "The Rescue of Princess Penelope" - of course it had to be a princess rescue!

I live in Texas with my wonderful husband and my baby - a rat terrier named Simba (Disney of course!).
