In short

  • I am a middle school English teacher and novelist.  I completed my first novel in 2007 and have been trying to get it published since.  I am currently working on a series of poetry and a second novel.

  • My debut novel, Good God Bird, was a semi-finalist in the 1st. Annual Amazon.com Breakthrough Novel Awards in 2008.  As part of the contest, I received a rave review from Publishers Weekly as well as Amazon.com Top Reviewers.
