In short

  • Old enough to be a grandmother, which I am, young enough to always learn. Enjoy a variety of things in life, writing has always, since childhood, been my 1st love in those interests.

  • Writing has been a passion for me along with reading since I learned the first words of grade school. Mainly poetry and short stories are key to my releasing a multitude of emotions.

My Favorites: Reading and Writing

  • Anne of Green Gables series, Little Women series, Gone with the Wind, Ginny Gordon,(anyone remember who wrote those?)Jack London, all of them. These were all childhood favorites of course!
  • Michael Connely's latest Harry Bosch cop story.
  • In my rocking chair/lazy boy, on the patio with the morning sun, or in the warm evenings by candlelight.
  • I have been writing poetry forever! A lot of them originated as music with my guitar and they're still my favorites to sing.

  • Fiction: Children's, Family Life & Saga, Short Story

    Poetry: Personal / Confessional, Song Lyrics

  • Kay Scarpetta from Patricia Cornwells novels.She's got her "stuff" together in many respects and is brilliant too boot!
  • Elizabeth George, Ruth Rendall, Patricia Cornwell, Michael Connelly, James Patterson and a whole bunch of others in that genre! I especially enjoy the "twisters" in all genres.
