In short

  • A 44 year-old mother of two who has turned her passion into books. Self-published 14 books and will keep writing. Coming up with 2,000 story ideas has pushed me to all different genres. I am willing to go places I thought I would never go in writing. I accomplished Poetry and my frist short story that has become my best work yet-according to readers. I have inspired others to go for what makes them happy-even through disabilities-Probably because I have been to the lowest health issues you can imagine, but I did not let them stop me from writing. One person (Librarian) told me my children's mystery collection was dull, drivel, and lacked everything to make it interesting. I was ready to hang up my writing, then everyone else that read it said that it was for children-the children loved it. Then I kept winning writing contests and realized I had a talent that could not be left in the sidelines anymore.
I boosted my confidence every time I wrote something that I thought would be impossible for me to write. I write for those readers that have begged for less information that has nothing to do with the story. When I hear a reader has enjoyed my book, then I keep going and do not let anyone tell me I can not do anything I put my mind to doing. I have a side dare-My son said, I could not get all my books written in two years: Well I can sure give it a try. June two years ago, I put myself to a Guiness Book of World Records test-I said I could write 50 manuscripts in 6 months: I finished those 50 and 25 more in under two months. I had 85 done by the end of the 6 months-making me the 1st disabled female writer to accomplish this feat. So when I put my mind to it, I can write. I have 2 professionals that edit and one other person that proof reads my work after I am done-These people are authors that said that they would have to watch out for me in the topics I never thought I would take a chance in.
