Hello My name is Destane` Queen Lozada and I am an writer/poet/journalist (if you can even be all of that at one time) I am as many would say a young woman, and as other would say a crazy teenage girl. I have always been the weird one out of the bunch always doing things the opposite way but in the end I am always correct (well...most of the time). As you may be able to see from my work I am not the best in grammar (and sometimes spelling) but I am getting there. I was told that since I was a little girl I had a big imagination. I could just sit and stare into space no one ever could figure out what I would be thinking about until I started writing it down on paper. I love to write and imagine. If you were a fast writer going by the rate of my imagination you would be making millions of dollars off my books. Its like another world just talking to me through my mind. I can see things that some people would never imagine it is just writing it down is what gets to me. My fingers get tired sometimes you really cant blame me. My parent really look out for my safety which is why I have so little friends and so little places I go. I like...no wait I LOVE coffee since I was a toddler. I am Porto Rican. I like to write interesting and extraordinary stories that would just blow your mind (I am just like tooting my own horn) Any who, the whole point is I like to write so stick you big (or little, you never know) brains into my work!

Her name was Auroura
She was only five
This is what happened
When she was alive
Her dad was a drunk
Her mom was an addict
Her parents kept her
Locked in an attic
Her only friend
was a little toy bear
It was old and worn out
And had patches of hair
She always talked to it
When no one's around
She lays there and hugs it
Not a peep of sound
Until her parents
unlock the door
Some more and more pain
She'll have to endore
A bruise on her leg
A scar on her face
Why would she be
In such a horrible place?
But she grabs her bear
And softly crys
She loves her parents
But they want her to die
She sits in the corner
Quiet but thinking,
" God, why? Why is
My life always sinking? "
Such a bad life
For a sad little kid
She'd get beaten and beaten
For anything she did
Then one night
Her mom came home high
The poor child was hit and slapped
As hours went by
Then her mom suddenly
Grabbed for a blade
It was sharp and pointy
One that she made
She thrust the blade
Right into her chest,
" You deserve to die
You worthless pest! "
The mom walked out
Leaving the girl slowly dying
She grabbed her bear
And again started crying
Police showed up
At the small little house
They quickly barged in
Everything was as quiet as a mouse
One officer slowly
Opened a door
To find the sad little girl
Lying on the floor
It must have been bad
To go through so much harm
But at least she died
With her best friend in her arms
