I am a Registered Nurse with experience in Oncology, Hospice and Dementia Special Care. My short story Mother, Boy, Man with Bag which appeared in the Winter 2004 issue of Brain, Child magazine was cited as a “Distinguished Contribution” in Best American Short Stories 2004. I was also runner up in the 2007 Novel-in-Progress competition in the William Faulkner-William Wisdom Creative Writing Competition.
