In short

  • I'm an English major with a double-minor in Education and Theatrical Design and Technology. This means that I can change extra-complicated lightbulbs while reciting Shakespeare to a group of high school students.

Most of what I write is prose with some poetry thrown in every once in a while. A lot of what I turn out never gets finished, but I'm happy to keep on trucking. Although my location says NYC, I was born and raised in Texas, so some big Southernisms crop up in my writing every now and again.

I'm at heart a lover of art in all its forms. Music is a language pure expression, words are spells around the listener, art is the flavor of visual perception and theater brings the whole lot of it together.

  • I can spit out an essay in mere hours? Just kidding. I devour books I like at the speed of light, and try very hard to seem like I'm actually good at this writing thing. I can also use power tools and asked for a crescent wrench for Christmas, but that's neither here nor there.
