I am working on my 15th CD. Along with the music, I have lyric to write. When I wrote them, I usually only penned the first verse and any bridge and chorus necessary to complete the idea. Now I get to go back and create complete comprehensive ideas that fit into the musical framework.

About me:
I have written many songs and outlined a few novels and stories, but I finally am thinking seriously about writing.
I am, and have been for many years, a musician. This job includes lugging amps, guitars and what-nots to gigs, building a studio, stuff like that.
I always joked of being a writer, because all I needed was a pencil...I could keep it on my ear or in my back pocket, carry it anywhere and write on the sidewalk, wall, or even a piece of paper.
My claim to fame: a nice person like you reading this post and something I wrote.

Fiction: Crime, Historical Fiction, Horror, Humor/Satire, Literary, Mystery, Sci Fi/Fantasy, Short Story

Non-Fiction: History, Humor, Memoir/Narrative Non-fiction, Reference, True Crime

Dracula by Bram Stoker
O. Henry collection
Cultural Fairy Tales (Japanese, Bros Grimm, etc.)
Too many more to list.
What I'm reading now:
A novel by Preston & Childs. Way too busy, built for the short attention span generation. Way too many characters to keep track of. Still I am trudging through.

In bed, before sleep.
