In short

  • I am 35 years old and have been writing something (either literature or poetry) since I was in the fifth grade, when I wrote my first story, Jayla and the New Kids on the Block - which I still have though at this current point in time is somewhere at my parents' house. During my middle and most of my high school years, my mainstay was poetry either for myself or for other people.
I was accused of plagiarism for one of the stories I was writing back in high school and honestly, I hadn't known or done anything of the sort it was more of an accident than on purpose since I'd never read the book that the person referenced, nor seen the movie. What book was I accused of plagiarizing? It was none other than Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula. Since then, I have been very careful, when not working in fandom that I have no intention of publishing or gaining money from, that I watch and research what I'm doing to make sure it can't be considered plagiarism.

I love writing and have around 25-30 works in progress that mostly abound in fandom. I tend to write male pairings so if you don't like slash, while I DO have some heterosexual stories, I'd prefer it if you asked me to point you to those rather than giving me a bad remark or review on one of my other stories. I don't appreciate being flamed and harassed for what I feel comfortable writing.

The fandoms in which I have work that is online either at Webook or somewhere else are Tin Man, Harry Potter, Labyrinth, Full House, Lord of the Rings, Smallville and Yugioh though there might be a Dragon Age story appearing in the unknown future.

Reading I don't do so much anymore because I have Adult ADD and find that forcing myself to read something, particularly of length just gives me massive migraines from words swimming on the page or screen. This is why I respectfully ask that if you send me a project request, you contact me through a message and let me know if you have a microphone and are willing to make an audio file. If you are willing to do so, I will send you my direct email address so you can send me the file and I will listen to it.

I am happily married to a wonderful man for the past 12 years. He is very sweet, letting me stay home and keep my calendar more or less free so that I can contribute my time and energy - at least most of the time - to my writing. I do get distracted on occasion, given my ADD and get sucked into doing other things, sometimes important, sometime just something frivolous that amuses me, but writing I have always come back to.

Since I have been away from Webook, and Webook has been offline, I have done some more research for my original story, The Blood Singer, and hope to get some work on that done for people on here. I’ve also had another story come up, also original work, called The Game that I’d like to post as well as my time and attention allow. Please do not panic if some of my work is taken down, it is done so for a reason and may or may not return.

  • I believe I was sent to a writing school by Tolkien Estates. I submitted my fan story, I'm Moving to Middle Earth to them after Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy came out, was turned down because they do not accept fan work, and shortly after the rejection, got a writing test from a writing school that I had requested. I'd never heard of that particular school before, so I believe that Tolkien Estates sent them my information.

  • While my ADD flares are some what under control more now than before, I still ask people not to overload me with requests to read. Its nothing personal to you or your work, its just I don't want to go through all the migraines again.  At the present when I feel so inclined, I am working my way through the Dark Is Rising series by Susan Cooper. I am currently on her third book in the series, Greenwitch.
  • living room or in bed.
  • While the majority of my work is in fandom, I do have some original pieces I am working on - I use the term loosely because my ADD flares up and I get distracted a LOT - that I hope to continue to add here. Of my original work so far, there is Journey Through Darkness, which is my poetry book and  my novel works The Blood Singer, and Child of the Sun on here. While Child of the Sun is based in Oz, it is not really a fandom story, but my own creation with my own characters.
  • Fiction: Erotica, Fairytales, Folklore & Mythology, Gay/Lesbian, Literary, Romance, Sci Fi/Fantasy, Women's Fiction

  • LOL someone with a wry sense of humor... perhaps Severus Snape, my favorite Harry Potter character or Glitch/Ambrose from Tin Man. Or even Gregory House.
  • Edgar Allen Poe, J. R. R. Tolkien, J. K. Rowling, L. Jane Smith, L. Frank Baum, Stephenie Meyer
