I am what I am, I do what I do. That is about it, really. I try really hard not to open the door to anything negative, and to stand back up again when life deals out punches. I breathe on a minute by minute basis and take little for granted. I figure...what will be will be....and as long as Good conquers Evil in the long run, I'm ok with that.

I am playing here, having a little fun. Fame? Depends on what one wants to admit, I suppose. My father always said, "You talk too much." In my old age, I am trying not to talk too much, and spend more time listening. I am not too keen on fame so much as enjoyment, fulfillment, satisfaction.
However, I WILL admit to being a retired librarian, an avid insatiable reader, and yes, a writer, of sorts! :-)

Another pllllease. I read anything and everything: the good, the bad, the ugly. I consume it all in volumes that are gluttonous. If I can't find a book, I read the backs of cereal boxes and the toilet paper plastic.

Hmmm...at any given time I am reading at least two, at most four. Started out posting what I was reading, but got so far behind posting, I am not going there anymore. But you can bet I have at least two novels I am reading, plus all the great stuff on WeBook! And there are some great authors on here!

Pippi Longstocking, hands down. But if I can only choose one aspect of a character, I would choose Mary's ability to fly with an umbrella. I wouldn't mind being a Borrower for a day too, if only to hide in the corners and listen to lives unfold that I can only imagine. (Oh yeah!!! I do that every time I read!!!)

Where ever I spot a bit of print. I do like settling into a hot bubble bath though, squirming under a down comforter, cozying up in my sofa. And I have found that if I can't afford all the books I want at the store, I can turn on the "speed reading mode" and grasp at least the plots of the stack in my paw that don't promise delicious turns of phrase to savor at home.
