In short

  • I write from a very emotional place. Sometimes this can make my poetry seem dark and gloomy, but it's just a snapshot of one particular moment in my life. I feel it, write about it, and move on. I try to keep at least some light and hope in even my darkest poems, but if it fails to show up there it never fails to show in my life. I have faith, peace and joy that cover me even in my darkest hour that can not be ignored or chased away. I have hope in Christ. What shines brighter? Nothing in all of creation.
