In short

  • Writing is a creative outlet for me rather than an intellectual pursuit. I enjoy a good story that is well told regardless of the genre. Anything that grips the imagination. I don't read every story and dissect it for some hidden meaning. I do not need a story to teach me a lesson, life takes care of that for me on a daily basis. When I read a story I want to be entertained. I want to experience a different reality for a while.

I have not really done much writing since school (which was a long time ago) so my work here is an attempt to get the juices flowing again. One of my life goals is to write a novel. Hopefully with some practice and guidance I can finally get started. I work in the high tech industry (software). My free time is spent writing, model building, and studying industrial history. For me, a perfect vacation is traveling to Pittsburgh and touring a steel mill.

  • No fame yet. In fact I still can't believe my life is happening to me.
