In short

  • Well, this technically isn't "in short", but oh well. I am 15--a sophomore in high school, and I like to read, write, and draw. I play the violin (ever since I was four), and i know a little piano by ear. I like to water ski and snow ski with my family, and I am also a big fan of drama, so I love to act, dance (i'm better at hip hop and jazz), and sing (my whole family sings together).  I have brown hair and hazel eyes, and I have four sisters: two married and two in college, and i also have two adorable nieces--one almost 3 and the other about a year old! My family and I love traveling, especially Europe. I've been to France (although for one day, but I've been there), Italy, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Holland, Mexico, and dozens of states across the US. My parents have been to even more places; Switzerland, Guatemala, Egypt, Hawaii, Alaska, England, Japan, and a BUNCH of other places I can't remember. We all have been to New York City dozens of times, and we have seen at least 37 Broadway shows and counting!

I am a proud member of the LDS church, and I'm a VERY big romantic and music nerd. I like to hang out with my friends and family, take pictures, play intense Rockband, watch movies, run, and play tennis. I also like making any type of artsy stuff, such as collages and costumes, etc. I'm a gamer and pretty much obsessed with the video game Legend of Zelda, and that's why I'm writing a fanfic book about it. I also REALLY like wolves, penguins, the Percy Jackson series, Final Fantasy, Disney/Pixar movies, and children shows such as Danny Phantom. I LOVE Big Time Rush and my future husband is James Maslow!!!! (he is SO freakin amazing)

I never really realized my love for writing until i was like 12. (Unfortunately that was my awkward stage, but I've skyrocketed out of that now :)) I wrote a little bit of my first story, Assumed Identity, in 6th grade. Since then, I've been excelling in my writing with help from my friends and English teachers (too bad most of them are evil witches). I hope to be the best that I can be. Feel free to read and comment on my work, and I am open to any critiques! And also remember I am only 15, so it's not perfect. :)
PS I'm a sap for romance and happy endings, so I'm trying to write a book with a sad ending for once. I've only gotten as far as bittersweet...

My Fav. Quote That Applies to Everything:
Quality is better than quantity. :)

Top obsessions: Legend of Zelda, Percy Jackson, Final Fantasy, Danny Phantom, and James Maslow/Big Time Rush

I AM A DAUGHTER OF ZEUS. -Quiz approved :)

I get inspiration from every book I read, every movie I watch, every picture I see, and every song I hear.

  • Someone once told me.....
What is the very crucial and last thing you want to leave in a reader's mind after they have read your work? Pictures. You want them to see, to hear, to smell, to taste, to feel, to BE in your world of writing. To sweep them off their feet and brainwash them, let them absorb and experience what you have already seen vividly in your mind.

  • The Forgotten Locket by Lisa Mangum, The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale, and Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
  • Anywhere, as long as it's quiet and very comfortable. :)
  • I love to write novels, poetry, and songs. But since my poetry is a little bit on the skimpy side, my main initiative is a novelist. :)
