I am retired and have three children, a son 44, a son 29 and a daughter 27.
I have two grandsons. Eden will be 7 years old in December. Doug will be 6 years old in December. I love gardening when the weather cooperates. I grow flowers and herbs for teas. I have an extensive library, books are my passion. I have one cat Poco a male Ginger Tabby.. I have been married to my second husband over thirty years. I love time alone to write and meditate. I love to dance and do yoga. I'm a Spiritualist and do not adhere to a specific religious dogma. I feel that everyones religious beliefs are sacred to them and it's not up for debate. What you feel in your heart is right for you is all that matters. " There Are Many Roads But Only One Destination." That's back to the Creative Life Force from which we came. - I have been writing for well over forty years. I have had ten or twelve poems published in Anthologies. I have had a number of essays published in our local news papers and two stories published in national magazines. I am self taught and pretty wise for my years, but I have enough common sense to realize that you are never to old to learn. I welcome all comments good, bad and indifferent. I look forward to meeting new friends. Hopefully I will get a few good reviews. I love all people. Reading and writing are among my favorite past times. I look forward to the journey. I am also a Certified Intergrative Yoga Therapist and Reiki Master/ Healing Touch Practitioner.

I love to sit curled up in my big chair by the wood stove in the winter time. In the spring and fall I love to be outside in nature. Summers are hot in the valley, then I opt for the cool, comfortable, upstairs bedroom that was once my daughters. I seldom go to the the old home place of my mother-in-laws in the mountain any more since her passing. Even the recliner where I use to sit no longer beckons me. It was my mothers chair and was given to my mother-in-law at her passing. Now it's a sad reminder that they are both gone. On the Other Side they are united. Life transitions. Change is constant. I loath change. As the world around me changes and the people closest to me are no longer here, the loneliness brings dispare. So I find myself on webook, I write and ponder. What does life now have in store for me?. How much longer will I even be here to set it all down?
