Also, I like reading late at night.

Most of my writing up to this point has been forced upon me. And lately it has been of the scholarly, non-creative sort.

In some ways, I enjoy the scientific writing I must churn out. It follows a specific format that emphasizes uniformity and (typically) requires minimal effort.

But that's a cop out. I would like to excerise whatever creative abilities I do have. Unfortunately, I'm just out of practice, and I find open-ended writing to be much more difficult than "assigned" writing.

I've always envied the birds. If I could be any character, I'd still be me, but the winged version.

Whoever catches my eye.
