When I was a child my father always figured I would grow up to do something with my hands, like make music or write, or both. I used to sit in my crib for hours just staring at them -- my hands. I did become a Clarinetist, and even went to Music School, though in the end I graduated college with a BA in English, having changed my major to Writing. And then I wound up in computers -- but at Libraries. I've always been all about the books. I write poems, stories, and books. I had many teachers who said I had much to say. For a long time, I didn't say any of it. Now I think it's time to start again.
