In short

  • I dance, I sing, I write, I laugh at bad jokes.

I'm a nerdy girl on the run; I like to think I'm medium-cute. Music is kind of like oxygen to me. My chocolate-chip cookies taste like heaven. Bow ties are cool. I doodle on everything. My poetry is either very sappy or very depressing, and ALWAYS terrible. I secretly wish I was a mermaid. My immagination refuses to stay inside any sort of box. I'm a little naive and a little silly, but I like me.

I'd like to think I've got a story to tell and a decent way of telling it.

  • I've danced in New York City with the Alivin Ailey Dance Company c:

  • Essence is my first major, long-story, novel-ish project that's gotten off the ground, but I write a lot of short stories. I also keep a journal.
  • Honestly? I wouldn't like to be ANY sort of book character for a day. The cool super powers or the hunky boyfriends they have are SO not worth the amount of crap that their respective authors put them through.
