In short

  • I am an accomplished portrait artist and aspiring writer who loves the creative arts.  I am a bit of a mystic who enjoys reading about esoteric as well as hermetic knowledge mixed into such genre as High-tech Suspense/Thriller, e.g., Michael Crichton's, "Prey" or "Timeline," Dan Brown's series on the symbolist professor, Robert Langdon, e.g., "The Da Vinci Code," "Angels and Demons," and his latest , "Secret Symbols."  And I thoroughly enjoy reading the wonderful series of Harry Potter, by J.K.Rolwling.  I enjoy swimming and yogi to keep fit and healthy.  I also am a widower, my beloved soul light, Joan Leslie, passed beyond this Earthly realm in April of 1999 -- we had been married almost 26 years.  I am also a grand father of five grand kids...they keep me busy and help me to stay on top of things.  I also have an original family of four children, two males and two females.  I have suffered two major heart attack in 2009 and died twice and each time I was in that mystical "Tunnel of Light."

  • My claim to fame started when I first met Dr. Darrel C. Richardson who turned me on to Tarzan of the Apes and too the famous illustrator of the Tarzan genre, Burne Hogarth --who later became my mentor and friend and taught me "Dynamic Figure Drawing."  Later I met C.C. Beck the artist who created, "Captain Marvel."  He encouraged me to keep working and submitting my work.  Then I met Demetri Vale in Dallas, Texas and he taught me how to truly paint very realistic portraits.  My writing blossomed as an aside to my art.  In 1973 to 1979 I created a comic strip: "NEW MSTERS," and had it copy-right protected.  It was published in the local college newspaper and found some minor publication in a local newspaper near Memphis, TN.  It evolved slowly into the series of six books I am currently working on: THE CHRONICLES OF LILITH'S CHILDREN.  So it has taken most of my life to developed the mythical epic which will rewrite the mythos of: Lilith and Gilgamesh.  I am currently working on a graphics novel idea with Zecharia Sitchin the world renown author of the "Earth Chronicles."
