I have been teaching chess for over 15 years; earning a scholarship to Kent State University's teachers’ program because of a chess program I developed for inner-city school students - hailed as innovative and creative. The students were using their minds and focusing during the days that classes were held. The educators observed and recorded that the students had greater focus and exemplified increased IQs. I have used chess as a corridor to share math, strategic thinking and many more useful life-force skills. Focus is always the catalyst that separates the under achievers from the over achievers. In addition to teaching children, I taught adults personally and at corporate levels.
At business seminars, I used chess strategies as a way of introducing new products, procedures and methodologies earning the reputation as one of the top salesperson's in my field. I have also written many articles providing hands-on training for individuals in marketing and sales improvement. I am a marketing genius, sometimes referred to as “The Christmas tree,” meaning when I go into a room everyone looks at me in awe.
