I can start a fire with wood and rocks, make candles out of bark and sap, and backpack in extreme conditions, but my current job--raising boys--requires a little more survival instinct and raw perseverance.
I belong to a group of agented authors and professional writers who collaborate on critiques, interviews, and contests on a well-known writing blog.
I make really good pies.
Four of my projects have been elevated to Round 2 of PageToFame. One has moved on to Round 3 with a pro rating of 4/5!! *crosses fingers*
I've written four complete novels, mostly YA, but the last one's MG. Working on novels five and six now. If I could get paid for this work, I would do the chicken dance every day.

Cammie Morgan from Ally Carter's Gallagher Girls series "I'd Tell You I Love You But Then I'd Have to Kill You"
-yeah, she's a 15-year-old spy attending an elite, top-secret spy academy. Genius idea.
Jane Austen and Stephenie Meyer, the cunning of the first and the passion of the second are what I strive for in my own work.
