In short

  • My name is Savah'na Jackson, and I have no fame to lay claim to. I'm simply a girl who loves to read, write, and draw.

I write mostly realistic fiction that is loosely based on my own experiences. I am a lover of nature and people say you can see that in my writing.

I am of mixed decent, being half white (Black Irish, Norweigen, German, and Scottish) and half American Indian (Klamath, Modoc, Hoopa, and Washou). My grandpa tells me that it is very important to let people know that, and after I was cussed out over a piece I did about alcoholism in my family, who just happen to be American Indians, I now agree with him. But the funny thing about it was that the woman who cussed me out was white, and kept going on about how I was just passing on a stereotype. I laugh about it now.

  • I have two places that I love to read.
One is in my room, on my bed, and
The other one is on the public bus. But I don't really read, I just like to hear what people say when they don't think any one is listening!
  • Suzanne Brockmann, J.K. Rowling, Sherman Alexie, Jane Austen, Christopher Moore, and Maya Angelou are just a few.
