Full-time stay-at-home grandmom to 3 beautiful children ages 7 - 3.  I take care of my 4-year-old grandson who is severely disabled due to an accident that occured in his mother's care.  Writing has always come natural to me but I never appreciated that my writing was "special" because it was "just something I did".   My poetry comes from personal experiences with my daughter, her children, my family, my husband, my life in New Orleans and observation of life through other peoples' eyes.  I only write from the heart, so my poetry rings true and heartfelt.
