I am  lover of research and writing, reading and being in the wilderness.  I am also a very hands-on mother and educator.  I have work published in a variety of places from Skateboard magazines (son is a down-hill racer), to an essay the Globe and Mail and a couple literary journals.  I love short stories, both reading and writing them, but now my project is a full on historic novel.  The first chapter is in press, due to come out this September!
