Thanks to Ally014, John Scalzi, On Teens, and the Fact Their Writing Sucks and Xopher, I have found out that it is a crime against the whole teenage segment to make High School start at or before 9 in the morning, because teenagers need 10 hours of sleep still, like children, yet their melatonin (the chemical which controls your ability to sleep) release time is pushed to 11 PM, and so for teens who are woken or habitually wake up before 9 in the morning, they will be chronically sleep deprived, and this will make it harder to think or will make them cranky.
Ha! Take that education system!
