  I'm glad I had the experience I did growing up, because it made me who I am today.  I would not go back, nor is there anything I would change.  I could say, "why?" at least a thousand times....but in that I always am thinking, always pondering.....which has made a better writer out of me.  I gladly look forward for what is yet to come.

• My claim to fame: I have several venues published.  One poem has been published internationally.

  Dream Connection
  No shoes for me to give you,
  no bike or swing to play.
  I love you more than I can say!
  
  You're the blanket I will carry
  till my dying day.  I miss you!
  
  again this for sister that passed...If you are into dreams, this poem has double meanings.   In my grief I dreamed of her quite often.  Shoes are words.  bikes and swings are things hanging in the balance/decisions to be made.   For some reason I could never say I love you or I would wake up.  (so tell the ones you love often while they are here)   the blanket is simular to reality....but the blankets in your head....something you carry with you.  To my knowledge this may be the first of its kind.
