I’m an aspiring film maker who is at times lazy as I lack focus and often confused so I guess I really need a group like this. I have written many theatrical and screen plays yet I find that writing a novel is much more challenging and demanding. In screen plays it is usually left to the actors and directors imagination to portray the mood of the scene and characters emotions and thoughts. The one detail the screen writer really worries about is strong dialogue and of course his imagination in creating a strong conflicting story. My imagination for creating stories is brilliant however I’m missing some techniques that I should hopefully master through writing, reading and researching writing techniques. I'm currently writing a novel and only up to page twenty. The novel is a semi auto biography about my experiences traveling and living abroad in Mexico and working in the scandalous timeshare industry. The reason I joined this forum is to be inspired and give and get feed back by others like my self.
