About me:
I have been writing since I was in third grade. My teachers encouraged me and so did my mom, until I got ready for college. Then she wanted something more stable for me, so I studied education.

Writing is powerful, so powerful that I started a family before becoming a teacher. I began writing as my children's schedule allowed it. Now I am finishing the English part of my Bachelor's program, going on to get my Master's, and aspire to teach English to cover my superhero status as a professional writer!

I am fascinated with southern culture and southern writers. I am proud to be a northern writer with a southern voice.
My claim to fame: Associate editor for skirt! magazine and coming to a writer's conference near you- soon!
