In short

  • I was born in Jackson, MS, and raised in the delta in the of town of Mound Bayou, the oldest black U.S. Municipality. Not until my sixth grade year did I understand how the written word could benefit me in how I managed precarious circumstances. I contributed to the newly, re-circulated version of my high school's newspaper.  During my college years, I traveled the undecided road to the field of study that would garner me a stable life. Unfortunately, stability has yet to show her homely face. Now, in my early thirties, I look with a keener eye towards the direction where I want to spend the rest of this universal currency called lifetime.

  • I hope to follow the road of James Patterson, Dean Koontz, and Stephen King. One that is filled with exploring all sorts of experiences that life has to offer or, at least, what can be created within the confines of the human mind in regards to our reality. I hope this works...because I'll be a kind bum with pen and paper, attempting to fulfll the last vestiges of what I call a dream.

My Favorites: Reading and Writing

  • I've read some books. Of those, I would say that Dean Koontz's Odd Thomas series has really percolated my interests. Moreover, Stephen Kings' book "Desperation" was also a provocative piece of work. Currently, I'm looking into James Patterson's Daniel X, which seems to be a popular piece of work.
  • Well, I'm studying for a CPA exam, so that's what is taking my time at the moment. How...ev...ver...I am thinking picking up Dean Koontz's Frankenstein series.
  • A cool and dimly lit place is where I'd enjoy reading the most, especially if I can lie down while doing so.
  • I'm just getting started. Unless you wanted to read my paper "Why I Chose Teaching as a Profession," which definitely waxes philosophical, I used that paper on the "I write like" website, and website's computer algorithm said that I wrote like H.P. Lovecraft. Who'da thunk it!
  • I would enjoy being someone similar to Bruce Almighty. So, I could ask God about some key things concerning life.
  • The three mentioned above would be considered my favorite authors.
