In short

  •      Getting old, 55.  I've been a merchant marine for the past thirty years, tug boats.  My mother taught english at Georgetown and American U as well as being a writer. She instilled a love of reading in all of her children (6) at an early age.
         I have wanted to write for a long time but find myself stumbling over the basics .  Strunk & White have helped some I hope I can get further help here.

  • Some short stories and I did write a short novel once (the first thing I ever wrote actually) editors told me that they couldn't use it because it involved an actual religeon in an uncomplementory manner. So who knew voodoo (Voudoon) was a real religeon? Besides, I strongly suspect that they were just being nice.
