    Sara Crewe from A Little Princess.  After she gets rich again, only to see how difficult it would be to be so nice.

    And it'd be nice to be rich for a day, that's all I'm saying.
  • Meg Cabot and Wendelin van Draanen: They both write with female protagonists who speak with very unique voices.  I love reading these out loud.
