In short

  • I am a 91.5 y.o. female.  Love thread arts (including the 'lost art' of tatting), writing poetry, and hearing children's laughter!  I also have a hobby of finding gramatical errors in anything written by mankind.

     A native-born Texan and proud of it!  Fell in love with computers in 1980 and have not been without one since.

    I have four children (but I cheated and had the first two together!), eight grandchildren, and more great-grands then I can shake a stick at. 

    My mother lived to be 98 - and I'm hoping to do better than she did!

  • None, really.  When younger and with intact rotator cuffs, I made porcelain dolls which sold for $250 up.  Hated when I had to give that up.  Also did china painting (which I loved!) until a stroke put the quietus to that by leaving me with a slight tremmor in my right hand!

  • HOUR GAME by David Baldacci
  • I read in bed at night only.  When my first-born turned out to be twins and arrived at the toddler age, I learned very quickly that I could not pick up a book to read while they were up and about!  I read when they were down for a nap or in bed at night.  Habits are pretty hard to break!
