In short

  • I like to travel so that gives me quite a bit of fodder to draw upon when I write a short story or work on a novel. I have been published, my first story being published under a pseudonym in a romance magazine several decades ago. Since that milestone most of my published works have been sporadic and chiefly financial articles.

Although my principal career has been in financial services (executive with securities companies, stock brokerage and institutional mutual funds), my interests encompass such diverse fields as economics, philosophy, astronomy, aerospace, physics, archeology, paleontology, the paranormal, classical literature and classical art.

I have traveled to almost every state in the USA, seen much of Canada and Mexico, climbed the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan, Mexico when I was twelve, toured much of Europe, explored Istanbul and the Greek ruins in Turkey, and sailed the Mediterranean, Caribbean and West Indies. My biggest thrill was spending four weeks in West Africa during 1999 spending time in Senegal, the Ivory Coast and Ghana.

  • Have been professionally published more than once.
