The story of my life in five sentences:

I grew up in the heart of the Big Thicket, surrounded by trees that reached to the heavens and blotted out the sun.
I found religion in those crackling, cool places amidst fallen leaves and blackberry vines.
I fell in love with a man who moved like a wolf, and he managed to do something no other man ever could:
he tamed me.
I became a wife, and a mother, and I found that I loved these things; that they, too were part of me.
But I still escape to those wooded places.

Hmmm....what else?  I love the work of Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, and Steven Brust, and have always wished that I could write comedy.  Recently, I've given it a shot.  My husband and I worked collaboratively and wrote HUGO HOMUNCULUS, a comedic middle grade fantasy about two ninth graders, an escaped homunculus, and two very angry wizards.  I'm polishing it now, and will be querying agents this spring.

I have a few things published with small presses, but spend most of my time as a stay at home mom with three children.
