I have had my poems pubilshed several times while in school because of my poetry being sent off to student poetry books by teachers. Also while at Cleveland College of Art and Design I appeared in the news paper the Gazette. Once was an interview which would help highlight my course and once was when I and some of my fellow students were given awards.
I have met with the mayor of Middlesbrough - though I doubt he remembers me. Then there was a time I met Julian Lloyd Webber after his concert which I among many fellow cellists auditioned for - I didn't get in but still I got introduced as the girl who appeared fearless in front of a pannel of judges (I did get two tickets to the show though).
