In short

  • Annabel Sheila grew up in a small town on the west coast of Newfoundland Living beside the ocean with a real pirate in her ancestry; her vivid imagination was constantly fuelled. An avid reader since childhood, she embraced her passion for writing a few years ago and has since published two books.  Tell Me A Story, is a children’s book of lyrical poetry she wrote, self-published and illustrated as a fundraiser for the Kiwanis/Unicef AIDS project in the Caribbean. Her first fiction, Sketches Of Destiny was released in March 2008. A contributing writer of both lyrical poetry and short stories for Bread n’ Molasses Magazine, (Miramichi, New Brunswick), a member of the Board of Editors for Bread n’ Molasses Magazine and a member of the Canadian Poetry Association, Annabel Sheila is an author with a great imagination and a passion for writing.

  • I raised two fabulous children on my own!! This is my life's greatest accomplishment.

I have amassed a huge collection of children's lyrical poetry, grown-ups poetry,and am working on 4 fictions with a 5th one at the publishers right now.
